Producing pure, nutrient dense food whilst regenerating the soil and ecosystem

Our Story

The Mission

A small, family run farm on a mission to produce the purest and most nutrient dense food, whilst regenerating soils and ecosystems. We look to go beyond simply ‘organic’ standards, striving to showcase how farming can not only be ‘sustainable’ but actually regenerate lost resources, using holistic, regenerative and permaculture practices.

The Origins

It all started in 2014 when our father came across a 7 acre plot of land for sale, adjacent to the M65 motorway in Burnley, Lancashire. Having already dedicated his entire life to tirelessly serving others, he embarked on an 6 year long journey of trying to utilise this land for the benefit of the community. Unfortunately after many challenges with the local authorities, refusal of planning permission in the summer of 2020 thwarted plans for the proposed Muslim Cemetery (Garden of Peace).

After a short illness, our father sadly passed away in October 2020. Even in his last moments, he kept hope that the land would be used for good. The family took time to reflect and figure out the best course of action to both utilise the land and, more importantly, to honour the man that served communities his entire life.

After much deliberation, the family agreed that, due to the grounds of rejection being unnegotiable, there was little alternative but to abandon the cemetery project. Instead it would be utilised it for its permitted use - agriculture.

Now the story and stewardship of this land moves into it’s next chapter.
